Required documents
1. scan of school certificate (if not in Polish or English, attach translation in one scan)*;
2. scan of transcript of records (if not in Polish or English, attach translation in one scan)* ;
3. scan of the national exam results*;
4. recognition of foreign educational documents by NAWA (a decision issued by the Education Superintendent by 30 June 2025) – confirming eligibility to undertake studies in Poland; recognition is not required for documents from the EU, EEA, OECD, Ukraine, Libya, and Chinese gaozhong.
5. document confirming English language proficiency at a minimum B2 level.

*If you hold a Polish matura, you enter your results into the admission system yourself and do not need to upload a scan of the matura certificate.

Rules of funding studies
The right to study under the same financial conditions as Polish citizens is confirmed by:
• Polish Card (Karta Polaka) / decision confirming Polish origin
• Citizenship of an EU/EFTA member state
• Family members of Polish citizens (spouses, children, and parents)
• Permanent residence card or EU long-term resident permit
• State certificate of proficiency in Polish as a foreign language at level C1
• Certain types of temporary residence:
Article 127 | 137a | 151.1 | 151b.1 | 156b | 159.1 | 186.1.3–4 (resulting from the voivode’s decision)
• Documents confirming subsidiary protection, refugee status, or temporary protection granted in the Republic of Poland
You may also study under the conditions of an external scholarship, such as NAWA, the Kalinowski Programme, or the Visegrad Fund.
If you do not hold any of the statuses listed above, you will need to cover tuition fees.
Rules for taking the exam
Important: International candidates applying for first-cycle (Bachelor’s) studies who obtained their secondary school diploma outside the EU, OECD or EFTA, as well as those who do not hold an IB/EB diploma or a document recognized under an international agreement (e.g. Ukraine, China), are required to take an entrance exam.
Admission Centre will inform you about the details via a message in the IRK system no later than the day before the exams begin. Remember to regularly check the messages sent in IRK.
